Genoa inaugurates the gardens of Quinto – Sport & Impianti
The redevelopment project of the gardens of Quinto in Genoa was born from the strongly felt need of the citizens to improve the usability and safety of the whole area.
The primary objective of the intervention, which cost around 800 thousand euros, was to enhance the green area in all its extension, preserving the existing plant elements.
The mayor Marco Bucci, the councilor for public works Pietro Piciocchi and for ASTer were present at the inauguration of the gardens of Quinto in Genoa. the ceo Antonello Guiducci, the president and the technicians and designers.

The layout of the garden revolves around the two main axes of travel, where there is a space of 700 square meters free from trees with a sort of square and a space with games for children.
The redevelopment of the gardens of Quinto in Genoa: the details of the works
The redevelopment of the Quinto gardens in Genoa included the addition of various plants, new hedges and an area dedicated to dog walking. Furthermore, the interventions completed include:
• 3000 square meters of damaged paving and asphalt removed, of which 1/3 recovered for subsequent reuse
• 3500 sq m of new drainage paving
• 1 new inclusive toy and 2 spring toys in the central area
• 1 new play area with 2 swings (including and basket)
• 1 fitness area with 4 stations for outdoor training
• from 20 to 40 light points
• 6 jolly towers (power points on retractable turrets) to rearrange the electrical systems used for rides, inflatables and kiosks.
