Libera responds to the PSD on Europe
The path that will lead San Marino out of the crisis generated by the terrible 90s, years in which unscrupulous and prevailing politicians were the positions of entrepreneurs and professionals who reaped the ‘forbidden’ fruits of the economy of secrets with both hands, was long and is not yet over. Since the bursting of the financial bubble in 2008 which generated more than a billion of public debt and the loss of credibility of the Republic, politics has finally made a decisive change, in many respects costing the positions of the international community, but also by the will of those who always give the right to transparency and respect for. Among these are those who propose an approach to the European Union so that the Republic can count on the same rules and on the same market as our neighboring economies. This is one of the fundamental reasons why Libera was born, which sees in the path of association (we prefer to join) the U, the possibility of making ethics, honesty and skills prevail in San Marino society. It is therefore surprising that the PSD, which has associated itself in the NPR electoral cauldron with anti-European forces and that in the return to the return to the heyday of “we were fine, launch accusations without considering that the representatives of Libera have always supported the steps, even if really not very courageous, of the current majority in the direction of the association process. Not only that, but the representatives of Libera have always supported, both from positions of government, but also of opposition, the paths aimed at regaining the country’s credibility and the legislative reforms that have reversed the course of a country previously closed in its unspeakable secrets and now open and transparent. Indeed, Libera argues that the path is by no means concluded and is worried about the strange accesses to international credit put in place by the government and is still worried because the more than 340 million of acquired liquidity have evaporated without having helped to give the economy new momentum. and new opportunities. Europe will be a big step, also because it should be to keep resources monitored and plan their destination in a shared way, preventing the management of public finance and other internal resources, both for the use and consumption of a government party in order to support their own electorate and the solidity of their centers of power. Dear comrades of the PSD, we would like that rather than live on the laurels of a possible acceleration of the association agreement with the EU, it was possible to resume the interrupted discourse on the future of our economy, our society, our country, undermined instead by the choices policies of this government.
