According to Meteo France, the maximum temperatures forecast for this Wednesday should reach 27 ° C in Marseille and Paris, 30 ° C in Lyon and Strasbourg, 31 ° C in Clermont-Ferrand or 29 ° C in Nancy, Limoges or Dijon. Thanks to the anticyclone, temperatures have increased over the days and will approach 30°C in a large part of France by the end of the week.
Strong heat which is not exceptional, but is nevertheless remarkable for its duration and its precocity, with six more weeks of the official date of the beginning of summer. “Maximum temperatures will frequently reach levels close to the average for the summer months”, forecasts Météo France, which anticipates a continuation of these temperatures next week. However, thunderstorms could break out.
A hot and dry trend which should aggravate the drought which is already affecting several regions of the country. Fifteen departments are already subject to restrictions linked to the lack of water, according to the official Propluvia website. Water reserves could again see their level decrease in the coming days.
