SVG Reichenau suffered a bitter 5-0 defeat in the 26th round of the Regionalliga Tirol – upper play-off. Kitzbühel beats Wörgl 4:1 and is four teams within five points – in terms of lost points – namely leaders Wörgl, Kitzbühel, Reichenau and Imst. Only Kufstein is missing seven points in first place. In the lower play-off, four teams are still in danger of being relegated to when – for SV Innsbruck, however, the worldwide relegation would be an extreme effort.
Imst defeated Reichenau
Herbert Ramsbacher, coach SC Sparkasse Imst: “A perfect week for my team. Without our captain Rene Prantl it was a very clear thing against SVG Reichenau, we stayed patient and won 5:0 in the end. Stefan Lorenz gave us the lead in the 23rd minute, and a great goal from Armin Hamzic in the 58th minute – the goal of the year. A line from thirty meters straight into the Kreuzeck. Marko Jovljevic made it 3-0 in the 65th minute and he also made it 4-0 in the 80th minute. In added time, Rene Hellermann made it 5-0.”

Lower play-off: Fügen defeats the Haller Löwen
Three extremely important home points for SV Fügen – 4:1 against SV Hall. The WSG Tirol amateurs also made three big points with a 4-2 win over table leaders FC Wacker Innsbruck II. After the curtain on professional football has fallen at FC Wacker Innsbruck for the time being, they want to keep tradition high, at least in the regional league. However, FC Wacker Innsbruck is probably in danger of slipping into the relegation place if things get really tough. After losing points, Fügen is number one – right behind Wacker Innsbruck, WSG Tirol Amateure and Hall. SV Innsbruck are missing six points on the relegation place – so it will be extremely difficult to save themselves from being relegated to the Tirol Liga.
