From May 14 to 17, talk about climate issues on the forecourt of the Town Hall with the International Weather and Climate Forum.
After the release of the sixth report of the IPCC and announcements made at COP 26, the year 2022 is more important than ever for climate issues. To learn more about the current environmental situation, go to the 19th edition of the International Weather and Climate Forum which will take place at the Hôtel de Ville and at the Académie du Climat, from May 14 to 17!
For four days, the event will bring together scientists, experts and companies free of charge in order to address climate and environmental issues in a fun way. The common goal? Aact in favor of our planet!
In the program, workshops, conferences, debates and exhibitions suitable for everyone, to educate young and old about environmental issues.
The forum will be an opportunity to discover the various actions implemented to preserve our biodiversity and explore the latest innovative solutions found in order to act for the climate.
The event is also cultural with two exhibitions that will report on climate change in France thanks to the photos of the Observatory of Physics of the Globe of Clermont-Ferrand.
A screening of the documentary »Jeans Jouzel in the battle of the century” will be on the program, with the presence of the climatologist and protagonist of the film. We can also find an artistic performance proposed by visual artist Arthur Novak which would highlight the importance of biodiversity for the planet.
