The 52 songs that Portugal took to the Eurovision Song Contest, from best to worst
Since 1964, Portugal has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest in 51 competitions. Once he won (Salvador Sobral), on others he did brilliantly (Lúcia Moniz, Dulce Pontes, Sara Tavares, José Cid…), and on others he was still home without glory (the last places of Célia Lawson and Cláudia Pascoal). Often, however, behind the frustrating results, great songs were hidden.
What we present here is a reassessment. The BLITZ newsroom heard again the 52 participations of Portugal in the Eurovision Contest, from the 1964 debut, with António Calvário, to the last participation, in 2021, of the Black Mamba, and voted again for all of them. The results are here, updated this year, a few days right: from glories to embarrassments, from the best song to the worst.
