Coupe de France: a violent brawl broke out between supporters in Paris
DThe clashes broke out in front of the Gare de Lyon (Paris 12and), Saturday May 7, ahead of the Coupe de France final. OGC Nice meets its counterparts from FC Nantes tonight at the Stade de France. A video broadcast on social networks attests to violent scuffles between several individuals on the boulevard Diderot, opposite the restaurant Aux Caddies.
As related The Team, the brawl of great violence broke out between Ultras from OGC Nice coming out of the station and other visibly rival supporters. The two groups ran across the boulevard opposite the station forecourt, before attacking the furniture of the brasserie, used as a projectile. During the clash, smoke bombs were thrown and chairs, dishes and tables in the restaurant were destroyed. The individuals then fled.

A large police force
According to The Parisian, the manager of the establishment closed its doors for the day. No suspects were arrested. Two people were reportedly slightly injured in the altercation. Other restaurants in the Gare de Lyon district have closed their terraces to avoid clashes during the evening. A police system has been put in place, with many CRS mobilized in the area, before the kick-off of the match which will be whistled at 9 p.m.
