Rally de Portugal forces traffic restrictions in Porto between May 9th and 27th – Economy
In a statement, the municipality originated that to “guarantee safety conditions for people and vehicles” will be installed in the mobility of some ports.
Parking will be subject to restrictions between the 9th and 27th of May at Avenida de D. Carlos I, Rua de D. Luís Filipe and Esplanada do Castelo.
During the same period, the cycle path will not cross Rua de Raul Near the media with Avenida de D. Carlos I. On the 17th, 21st and 22nd of May, the cycle path will sometimes be restrictions imposed on transport.
Between the 14th and 16th of May, in a first phase, lane cuts are planned on Avenida de D. Carlos I, Rua D. Luís Filipe and Esplanada do Castelo (section between Rua do Passeio Alegre and Avenida de D. Carlos I).
In a second phase, which does not occur at the same time as the first, cuts are planned in Esplanada do Castelo (except for the street to the north) and in Rua D. Luís Filipe.
Between the 16th and 21st of May, the municipality established a single direction (east/west) on Esplanada do Castelo, in the section between Rua do Coronel Raul Peres and 300 meters to the east of this street.
At the same time, it is planned to cut the Rua D. Luís Filipe and Esplanada do Castelo (section between Rua Passeio do Alegre and Avenida de D. Carlos I).
Both the one-way establishment and the lane cut will take place between 05:00 on the 16th of May and 06:00 on the 17th, and between 00:00 on the 18th of May and 06:00 on the 21.
On the 17th, 21st and 22nd of May, lane cuts are planned at Rua de Sobreiras, Rua do Passeio Alegre, Rua 1 do Bairro da Rainha D. Leonor, Rua de Duarte Barbosa, Rua dos Olivais, Travessa dos Olivais , Rua de S. José, Rua de S. João da Foz, Alley da Senhora da Lapa, Calçada de Serrúbia, Church Ramp, Rua das Laranjeiras, Rua das Motas, Rua Bela, Rua de Santa Anastácia, Travessa do Castelo, Rua da Cerca, Esplanada do Castelo, Avenida de D. Carlos I, Rua D. Luís Filipe and Rua do Coronel Raul Peres.
At Rua da Senhora da Luz, Travessa do Alto de Vila, Rua do Alto de Vila, Rua de Cadouços, Rua de S. Bartolomeu, Travessa da Senhora da Luz, Rua da Fonte da Luz, Rua de Diu, Avenida do Brasil, Rua do Monte da Luz, Rua do Túnel, Rua de Gondarém and Travessa do Monte da Luz will also be subject to constraints in this period.
On May 17, parking will be restricted on Avenida de D. Carlos I between 6:00 am and 12:00 am, on May 21 between 6:00 am and 12:00 pm and on May 22 between at 00:00 and 06:00.
At the same time, there is no provision for a one-way establishment (south/north) on Avenida de Brasil (between 00:00 on May 18 and 06:00 on the 21st) and on Esplanada do Castelo (east west).
The lane will also be cut at Rua D. Luís Filipe, Esplanada do Castelo (from 12:00 to 24:00 on the 21st of May), Avenida Montevideo, Avenida do Brasil, Rua de Timor, Rua de Pero da Covilhã, Rua do Funchal, Rua do Molhe, Rua do Castro, Rua do Padrão, Rua de Rui Barbosa, Rua de Gondarém and Rua da Agra.
At the same time, Rua do Passeio Alegre will be subject to parking on the section between Rua de D. Luis Filipe and the side opposite number 28.
According to the Porto City Council, during the packaging, it is not allowed to stop or park vehicles on sidewalks or other spaces reserved for pedestrian circulation “form the signage at each location”.
Between 06:00 and 23:59 on the 17th of May and between 06:00 on the 21st and 06:00 on the 23rd of May, the taxi rank in Passeio Alegre will be disabled.
On the days of training and access to the test, access to cargo, residents and medical emergency means will be guaranteed, “according to the instructions” that the PSP or the Municipal Police establish at each control.
