He added that after further talks, Japan has confirmed its intention to provide Ukraine with $ 300 million in May. expenditures paid to internally displaced persons, as well as $ 60 million in social benefits.
“The British have confirmed an additional guarantee through the World Bank’s multi-donor trust fund that they have already provided $ 500 million. For 10 million euros we expect from Latvia and Lithuania, as well as Austria, another 10.5 million from Switzerland, 20.5 million euros. from Denmark. In addition, Poland and Finland are currently deciding on the amount and mechanism of assistance. Another EUR20 million – from Norway, also through a trust fund. Marchenko stressed that the European Investment Bank should restructure existing projects worth almost 1.1 billion euros, for which it is awaiting a decision from the European Commission, as well as a possible loan from France.
