GRAND AVIGNON “All at the opera” is this weekend!
The national event “All at the Opera” is being held this weekend, and passes through the Opéra du Grand Avignon.
These are open days with many activities for the whole family: make-up, hairdressing, dance workshops, musical and choreographic activities, an interactive photo exhibition or even a luthiers’ lounge. The opportunity also to (re)discover the Opéra du Grand Avignon, and in particular its Italian-style theatre, recently completely renovated.
And to echo the theme of this edition, which highlights the workshops, luthiers and instrument makers will be presented in the Grand foyer of the Opera. Thus, we will find there Bruno Reinhard for the recorders, Lydie Sauzet for the bowed strings, Didier Bougon for the barrel organ, the piano technician Lenie Carpentras, the bow maker Solène Chivas or Gaëlle Roffler for the guitars. Note that opera dancers as well as the tenor, opera singer Rémi Béer-Demander will also be present.
Free admission this Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 May from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Opéra du Grand Avignon is located on the Place de l’Horloge, in Avignon.
