Quarantine violated, Federal Court acquits Napoli and De Laurentiis

Specifically, De Laurentiis and Canonico had been referred “for failing to enforce or otherwise for not having supervised compliance with the rules in the field of health checks, and in particular for having allowed or, in any case, not having prevented the players Stanislav Lobotka, Amir Rrhamani and Piotr Zielinski from leaving Naples for Turin by plane on January 5, together with the rest of the ‘team group’. The three players had participated, on January 6, in the match valid for the Serie A Juventus-Napoli championship, despite having been subjected to home quarantine until January 9, according to ASL Napoli 2-NORD provision.
The disciplinary section of the National Federal Court, formed by the president Carlo Sica and five other members including the AIA representative Giancarlo Di Veglia, ruled on the matter with the acquittal of the deferred.
