Exercise overview
Stage presentation
A huge disco ball on stage is such an effective prop. The drum looks like it’s “on top” of a disco ball, but it’s actually placed on a raised platform. We’ve seen some great cameras for that; this makes the band feel like they’re playing an intimate performance and with lots of camera cutouts to stay dynamic.
That’s exactly what it should be – the lighting really catches your eye and matches the disco atmosphere of the 70’s, and the camera really brings us to the party.
There is no need to worry about the kinetic sun here – obviously the Slovenian team has always intended to use lights for their performance, as they are used to shining directly on the disco ball!
Costumes and styling
The clothes of the groups are well fitted. They fit the band extremely well and really act like they’re the biggest performers at the disco – and so we’re so glad we got the invitation!
Vocal quality
There are no surprises here, the vocals are incredibly safe and very confident. A really strong set of today’s tours.
General impression
It is fair to say that we are really enthusiastic about Slovenia. A very fun show that fills the stage and the arena should be dancing all the time! This could be in the qualifying dispute if it can attract public attention, but it certainly seems that the juries will support this exceptionally professional show.
