MUW Kraków: Celebrations in honor of St. Florian – the patron saint of the city of Krakow and firefighters
Patron of Krakow and firefighters. His support and protection will be invaluable to the city haunted by fires. Krakow values in honor of St. Florence is an opportunity to remind the fire brigade of the safety of Krakow and the whole of Małopolska.

The mass was preceded by a ceremonial database in front of the headquarters of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Krakow. After the assembly of basilicas, the participants of the conference set off from the Mały Rynek in front of the church and further towards the direction of St. Florian.
Immediately after the mass, a solemn procession from the orchestra of honorary companies, post offices and banner companies passed around Jan Matejko Square.
The tradition of the cult of St. Florian as a patron of fire developed in Poland from 1528, when a fire broke out in Krakow. The fire consumed most of the city then, especially Kleparz.
