FLI-CSU and USL subscribe to the Order of Chartered Accountants
The FLI-CSU and the USL have sent a letter to the order of accountants in relation to the renewal of the industrial sector employment contract, recalling its category on 21 April 2022 with Anis, the most representative association in the sector industrial; the associated companies, in fact, force over 60% of the work of the entire sector. The letter highlights Law no. 59/2016 provides for a deadline of at least six months before the approval of a new contract with Erga Omnes effect. In this sense CSU, USL and ANIS, given the difficult contingent situation characterized by an important increase in employment, mainly due to the surge in energy costs, have a priority and urgent need to give adequate support in a short time to the purchasing power of wages of workers, also for stability in the sector. Together with the revocation of the renewal, which provides for an increase in salaries equal to 3% for the current year, with recognition of the related arrears starting from January 1, 2022, and equal to 2.4% for the year 2023, the signatory parties have forwarded the request for activation of the renewal procedures as established by the Law of May 2016, and therefore are committed to signing the new consolidated text of the sector contract, on the drafting of which they are already working, also transferring the contents of the agreement within it reached last April. Once the related referendum procedures have been successfully completed, probably before the end of the current year, the renewal of the contract for the years 2022 and 2023 will therefore have erga omnes effect. With this recognition, all industrial companies mandatorily appoints the new agreement. Therefore, companies that have not updated their employees’ wages since April, once the contract has an erga omnes value, must pay all the arrears starting from 1 January 2022 with the first paycheck. one payment in a single solution.
