The investment in new bleaching technology will increase the mill’s capacity and support
Delivery takes place on an EPC basis and includes installation of two COMPACT PRESS washing presses, a new reactor, a sewage fiber filter and motorcycle equipment – all from ANDRITZ.
The COMPACT PRESS washing press is characterized by its small space and high availability, including extremely good washing efficiency, which ensures high-quality production and the highest mass unit.
For increased durability and circularity, the mill will reuse Stora Enso Oulu’s bleaching reactor (which is also supplied by ANDRITZ) and some of the mixers there.

Skutskarbruket has an annual production capacity of 540,000 tonnes and produces fluff, hardwood and softwood pulp.
