Ratification of two conventions of the Council of Europe from the Republic of Slovenia
Today, the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Slovenia to the Council of Europe, Ambassador Andrej Slapničar, presented the Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Bjorn Berge, with the instrument of ratification of two conventions: the Council of Europe Convention on Counterfeiting and Similar Crimes. threats to public health (Medicrime) – CETS no. 211 and the Council of Europe Convention against Trafficking in Human Organs – CETS no. 216

Slovenia became the 16th country to ratify the Council of Europe Convention Medicrime and the 14th country to ratify the Council of Europe Convention against Trafficking in Human Organs.
Both conventions will enter into force in Slovenia on 1 September 2022.
