Classical music concert in the Basilica of San Piero in Grado on May 8, 2022 Events in Pisa
A concert to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary and for an evening of emotions for the citizens of Pisa. It is the one organizer for Sunday 8 May in the Basilica of San Pietro in Grado by the Port Authority of Pisa (ex Navicelli) in collaboration with the Friends of the Pisan Museums and Monuments association.
During the evening – a strictly free admission – some of the most famous melodies of the classical panorama will be proposed: the Symphony n. 40 in G minor, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and the Symphony n. 1 in C major, op. 21, of Ludwig van Beethoven. They will be performing I Beautiful Bonds, chamber ensemble dedicated to the promotion of masterpieces of musical art, with particular regard to the pages of ancient literature. The name of the group refers to the first number of the collection Scherzi musica by the famous composer Claudio Monteverdi, entitled precisely I Bei Legami, a work that was published in Venice in 1607. A chamber ensemble that was born in Pisa in 2014 from the intent of professionals of wanting to create a vocal group capable of facing and performing the sacred and profane European repertoire of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. The Maestro will govern the ensemble Pietro Consoloni, Pisano doc, PhD in Musicology at the doctoral class of the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome and at the head, among other things, of the Resonare Vocal Ensemble of Rome, as well as artistic and musical choir of the Monsignor Cosimo Balducci of San Miniato .
