“On Wednesday, seven months after the consultation held last referendum, the first reading discussion of the law was held that the government, signed by the secretaries of state Tonnini, Ciavatta and Ugolini, filed, in compliance with the result of the referendum . Repubblica futura considered that, on a subject so delicate that it deeply touches the consciences of individuals, it was not appropriate to dare to give party indications regarding the vote to be voted in the referendum. We did not miss our contribution to the discussion, with several of our members who also spent their time in the front row on both sides. We renew our thanks to them, because with passion and precision they made the discussion on this topic lively and rich. Repubblica futura also argued that, once the referendum was over, it would have been necessary, and today it is in the highest degree, to put hand to a law that respected the will of the people and was the best possible. Unfortunately this was not the case. The law presented by the government is grossly insufficient (we wonder how it took even seven months to conceive such a thing). It does not dissolve and does not even address some issues that we believe are mandatory, or even deals with others with approximation or with disarming silences.
