Norway meets Denmark in the European Championship dress rehearsal
The case is being updated.
It reports the Norwegian Football Association on Friday.
– It is good to have landed both of our warm-up matches for the European Championships. Now we are really looking forward to taking on both the precamp and the championship. We are very pleased that we will face New Zealand and Denmark, there are two good opponents who both have similar characteristics to the teams we will face in the European Championships, says national team manager Martin Sjögren.
Norway will host New Zealand at Ullevaal on 25 June.
– The meeting with New Zealand will be the last match on Norwegian soil and we will meet at a proper folk party at Ullevaal Stadium. We could have met Denmark on the Algarve, but since nothing happened, it is good for both of us to meet in June. Denmark is a ball-proper team and very good in their passing game, it will be a good last test for us before we travel to England, says the national team manager.
The Norwegian team is number 11 in the world rankings, and like Denmark is ready for the European Championships which run from 6 to 31 July.
Norway plays in Group A with Northern Ireland, England and Austria, while Denmark is in Group B with Germany, Spain and Finland.
