Celine Dion is postponing the UK and European tour again due to health problems
Celine Dion has relocated the UK and European portion of its “Courage” world tour to ongoing health issues.
Dates have already been postponed due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and is now set to proceed in two stages.
The first is scheduled to begin in Prague on February 24 and run until London screenings on April 10 and 11. Later in 2023, Dion will start the next installment in Amsterdam in August and tour the mainland until he finishes the tour with two performances in Helsinki on October 3 and 4.
“Hello everyone – well, we’re here again and I’m so sorry we’ll have to change our European tour plans once again,” the star told fans in an emotional video posted on Instagram. “First we had to move performances because of the pandemic, now this is my health problem that makes us postpone some performances.
“Unfortunately, we also have to cancel some. The good news is that I’m feeling a little better. It’s going very slowly and it’s very frustrating for me. I’m getting treatment from my doctors, I’m taking medication, but I’m still experiencing seizures and recovery is taking much longer than I had hoped.”
He continued, “I need to be in top shape when I’m on stage. Honestly, I can’t wait. But I’m just not there yet. I just told you about my feelings – and I wanted you to know that I am sorry for this news. I know you’ve all been waiting so long for concerts, and I appreciate your loyalty. So far, I am convinced that you should be so tired of all this and wait so long. But all I can say is that I’m doing my best to get back to the level I need to be to be able to give 100 percent in my performances – because that’s what you deserve. ”
Dion thanked the fans for their continued support and love messages and ended the video by declaring his support for Ukraine. “I hope and pray that this war will end soon,” he said. “I send you all my love and prayers for peace.”

Earlier this year, Dion canceled the North American leg of the Courage World Tour due to the same health problems. The Canadian singer said she had suffered from “severe and persistent muscle cramps” since last year, which her official website said was “preventing her from performing.”
Meanwhile, an unauthorized film about Dion received standing ovation At the Cannes Film Festival in 2021. The biography is directed by Valerie Lemercier and stars the singer at all stages of her life, including childhood. Because Lemercier is unable to secure rights to Dion’s name, he directs Aline Dieua in the film.
