Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden just had another memorable style moment.
King Carl Gustaf’s eldest daughter handed out the Crafoord Prize during a ceremony held at Lund University on Wednesday, with an off-the-shoulder dress at the moment. The black top and patterned skirt were broken up by a statement belt, and Victoria wore a red clutch for an extra hue.
The neckline seems to be a recent favorite of Princess Victoria. When the Swedish royal family released fantastic new portraits recently she appeared in a ball gown that was not the shoulder, topped with Napoleonic Cut-Steel Tiara.

Princess Victoria also chose a red dress with a similar neckline for one gala dinner at Stockholm Castle earlier this month. For the elegant evening, she complemented her ensemble with a statement necklace (Queen Josefina’s Diamond Stomacher Necklace) and Crown Princess Margaret’s Laurel Wreath Tiara. This tiara was made by Boucheron around 1905 – and can also be worn as a necklace.

Princess Victoria, 44, knows how to make a style statement, but she is also known for doing it on a budget.
For her 10-year-old wedding portrait, Victoria chose a dress in tulle from the Swedish high street brand H&M.
The dark blue ruffle dress in tulle, part of H & M’s eco-friendly Conscious Collection, sells for $ 305 (no longer available) and is made entirely from recycled polyester. With a grosgrain waistband and a deep V-neck, the dress was lined in organza made of RENU polyester, made from raw materials extracted from used fabric.
