Sweden sees enormous potential in Bangladesh’s human resources in the IT sector and the Scandinavian nation believes that both countries can benefit from this human resource.
Alexandra Berg von Linde, Ambassador of Sweden, shared her views at a recent meeting with Russell T Ahmed, President of the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), at the Swedish Embassy in Dhaka.
The ambassador appreciated the growth that Bangladesh’s ICT industry has achieved in recent years in frontier technologies and suggested marketing its success stories abroad, BASIS said in a statement today.
She said that cooperation between private sectors in the two countries in the ICT sector will secure the common interests of the two nations.
Promoting the ICT industry in international forums is very important to highlight the preparedness of Bangladesh’s local companies, Ahmed said.
