San Marino. International beach tennis warms up the engines: Alice Grandi in the final at the IBF BT50 Tournament in Fiumicino
The international beach tennis season comes alive. The first ITF BT50 tournament was held in Fiumicino from 21 to 25 April, with a prize pool of 4,000 euros.
In the women’s scoreboard Alice Grandi, paired with Giulia Deiana, he pushed himself to the final. In the second round the Italian-San Marino duo won with a clear 6-4 6-1 over the Italian Frassica – Insardi and in the quarterfinals they got the better of 6-2 6-4 over the German Bolsmann – Meyer. She was a very tight challenge that saw Alice Grandi and Giulia Deiana prevail with the result of 6-2 5-7 10-8.
