“He is class. There is no better left-back in all of Sweden,” says the rumored Celtic goal
Hammarby fullback Mohanad Jeahze – Celtics reported summer transfer goals to offer competition to Greg Taylor on the left back – has claimed that he is happy with the Swedish league leaders, but was happy to release a hint that if there were to be bigger alternatives, it would be something of the Iraqi international, as reported in Scottish sunwould be willing to consider, before acknowledging the Celtic interest with a nod to the shared colors of his current club and Celtic.
“I can not say much about it. I have always been very clear. If I have to leave Hammarby, it will be for something better than Hammarby. I love this in Hammarby.
“Yes, it’s green and white!”
How do 60,000 fans backing you sound Mohaned? Is it better?
And if Jeahze’s teammate Darijan Bojanic’s assessment is to be believed, Celtic would not only get someone to act as an understudy for Greg Taylor, they get the best left back in Sweden – including the national team.
“He is class. There is no better left-back in all of Sweden. He is better than the left-backs in the national team as well. That is how he is with the ball and his ability to run up and down the pitch all the time. He always makes good decisions.
“Mohanad’s pass is central to us on the pitch. He’s class right through. “
Celtic are in need of a left-back this summer to provide real competition for a position where Celtic, with the exceptional Taylor, have limited options. Adam Montgomery is one for the future, Liam Scales seems incapable of forcing himself into regular conflicts, and Boli Bolingloi, who trains on his own, clearly does not seem to have a future at the club.
Mohanad Jeahze may well choose his words carefully when it comes to commenting on the links to Celtic, but you get the impression that “something better” he is alluding to would see Celtic meet his requirements.
