Verona, city of engines, the tour for the centenary of the Moto Guzzi.
Verona on the street to celebrate the first century of the life of the Guzzi motorcycles. This morning, in Piazza Bra, the centaurs of # Let’s go back to 100the initiative promoted by the City of Motors, the Anci network to which the Municipality of Verona joined last year.
Despite the rain, the initiative brought the party to the heart of the city. The tour, organized by Motorcycle Velo Club Lecco 1922, in collaboration with the Municipality of Mandello del Lario, aims to relaunch the passion for two-wheeled tourism.
Departed on April 21, from Mandello del Lario, in the provincGuzzi and, during the various stages, the museums, industrial and sports realities of each city of motors will be promoted and visited. A tour that all motorcyclists can then retrace during the summer. A new chance of tourism promotion made possible by Verona’s joining the Anci network in 2021.
To welcome the motorcyclists at the foot of the steps of Palazzo Barbieri, the mayor Federico Sborina and the Tourism Councilor Francesca Toffali. After Verona, the twenty centaurs who are taking part in the tour will continue passing through Castel D’Ario and Noale, where they will visit the Aprilia factory.
At the head of the group the person in charge of ‘Mandello City of motors‘ Carlo Maglia and the president of the Moto Velo Club Lecco Fabrizio Bianchi. The meeting was an opportunity for an ‘alternative’ exchange of gifts: two symbolic road signs in which are the kilometers that separate Verona and the Lombard municipality, to underline and further strengthen the network that the tour wants to sponsor.
“A centenary that tells a piece of Italian history – said the mayor -. We are happy to be part of this tour. As always, nothing is improvised. Verona today is the protagonist of this event because last year we joined the network City of motors. A new opportunity for Scaligero tourism and therefore the related activities of the territory“.

Also present was the municipal councilor Alessandro Gennariwhich concluded: “I share this passion, I couldn’t miss it, also because Moto Guzzi is a one-of-a-kind and totally Italian reality“.
