Cracow. Opponents of the S7 in front of the Office. The city changes on the clock
– The inhabitants suddenly realized that at the expense of the expressway, which is to run along the eastern clusters of Wieliczka, they will have a six-lane expressway installed next to their homes, or their houses will be demolished – says councilor Michał Starobrat. The inhabitants of Krakow, the commune of Krakowskie Przedmieście and Wieliczka will protest tomorrow against the S7 variants. However, there will be no agreement between them.
Tomorrow in Krakow, there are promises to be a stormy clash regarding the issues regarding the variants of the new section of S7 Krakow – Myślenice. Therefore, in front of the City Hall on pl. All Saints have announced a protest against opponents of variants 1-5 from the Swoszowice district and near Krakow, located south of the city. Opponents of variant no. 6 from Wieliczka and the town through which it is to be led in the Wieliczka poviat also announced their protest.
Due to the arrangement of the teleconference in front of the office, in the position of RMK, Rafał, due to the problems created by the S-7 Kraków-Myśle expressway, changes were made to points in the legal order.

“These weren’t there”
Rafał Komarewicz explains that the concepts of 1-5 in the corridor were a complete surprise. Earlier, it was previously agreed that the new section of the S7 was to be led by Wieliczka. – souvenirs that S7 is not a problem of the last few years, but of the last several dozen years. It was booked when this run route took place. It was supposed to run near Wieliczka. And where five new concepts were not forgotten, there were none. At the moment, this part of Krakow is quite intensively built-up. Residents here have a grudge that the S7 road will run next to their properties. They didn’t know about it before. It is natural – if we buy real estate, we check whether there is a route running (nearby – ed.). These are not, but when it comes to maintaining route 6, this information was previous, several dozen years ago – the rest of RMK.
One of the earliest protests against S7 was the Krakow councilor from Swoszowice, Michał Starobrat, who just after the presentation of the S7 corridor. – Doubts about the cities of holding the corridors to the new S7 expressway Kraków-Myślenice presented by the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, began when these corridors were presented. The residents rightly pointed out that, out of nowhere, suddenly a section of the road will run across the city of Krakow through District X of Swoszowice. S7 not via Swoszowice
Starobrat explains that the residents and Krakow councilors who will support the resolutions to the GDDKiA want to prevent the processing of corridors 1-5, and focused on variant No. 6 by Wieliczka. – There was a resolution recently, days ago, saying that there should be public consultations with the inhabitants, but a few people did not appear. They expect the General Directorate of National and Roads to try to negotiate with options 1 – 5. I am talking about the inhabitants of Krakow. Of course, the inhabitants of Wieliczka are interested in variant 6, which applies to them – says the councilor. – Listening to the vote I checked that it cannot be prepared and it works, we check to see if it really works, like these improvements. Therefore, they chose an amendment to take advantage of the practice of variants 1-5, which run through the X District of Swoszowice, that is the areas of Rajsko, Kosocice, Soboniowice – reminds Michał Starobrat.
There are no options
Starobrat also points out that the so-called collecting comments, which is now introduced by GDDKiA for consultations without posting in a formal course. – The general directorate says that more than 12,000 comments will be received, there is no need for consultation, there are no possible exclusions. Of course, this process can be initiated, but when the transition to data, for example, the control will affect, i.e. join the city of Krakow, i.e. start the entry into force of Tucholski, for example. In order not to be for all the inhabitants of the city of Krakow, due to the fact that if one of the variants is related to the construction of the new Węcholski district, the entire “four” (A4 – editor’s note) may be paralyzed and to affect not only the inhabitants of the city, but also the northern parts of the city – warns Starobrat.
The councilor also encourages to prepare for participation in tomorrow’s protest in Krakow. – I strongly encourage everyone, newcomers this protest, tomorrow, tomorrow, Wednesday at 9.30 am.
