Sporting is in the final of the Portuguese Women’s Cup despite the defeat in Braga
Diana Silva put Sporting ahead in the 34th minute, but Myra Delgadillo (42) and Laura Luís (72) turned the score around, which Anouk Dekker, from a penalty, sentenced (81).
Despite the victory and the best performance, Sporting de Braga, current holder of the title (relative to 2019/20, at the time it did not take place), stays for, Sporting is waiting for an opponent (Amora or Famalic) for the final that will have place on May 28, at Estádio Nacional, in Jamor.
Sporting entered the final game with a lead after the 3-0 lead to the first advantage, so Sporting’s final hand entered Braga as early as possible and was able to dispute access to the mark.
Myra Melgadillo, very active, could have opened the scoring in the 11th minute, but Doris Bacic did the spot well.
Sporting responded shortly after, through Diana Silva, but Patrícia Morais prevented the ‘leonine’ goal with a beautiful save (14).
In the 34th minute, launched by Andre Jacinto, Diana Silva was isolated Morais in the face of Patrícia and the first goal of the match, in a much contested by Braga by eventual forums of advanced progress.
Two minutes later, if the roles, with Diana Silva and Andreia Jacin, watched, but to reverse the shot and according to the hypothesis.
As Braga drew level just before the break, Myra Delgadillo composed the best resistance way in the Vitória Almeida phase, after a blunt construction error by Joana Marchão in the first ‘leonine’ (42).
Soon after, the same Myra Delgaillo could have done the same already in second place, in the area (44).
The second half opened again with the Minhotas more active in the search for a goal, forcing Doris Bacic to take good shots from Vanessa Marques (49) and Andreia Norton (60).
Sporting basically exploited the speed of Diana Silva, who could have sentenced the tie earlier, like in the 70th minute.
Entry shortly before, Laura Luís consummated the turnaround of Braga, at a time when Sporting played with one less unit, due to injury to the newcomer Alicia Correia (she even had to leave).
As Braga showed a lot of popularity and, in the 77th minute, they missed the third in an incredible way – merit also for Doris Bacic.
Shortly before, the ‘lioness’ Silva, isolated, hit the crossbar (74), but it would be Sporting de Braga, from penalties Anouk Dekker, after a counterattack in which the defense of Sportinguista ‘adoring’ .
minhotas have not yet been tagged as a turnaround, but still needed to be tagged as more.
Sport could also have ‘killed’ the match in the 84th minute: Brenda Pérez shot, with Pat, still having an intervention, change, change, and in the reload Diana Silva saw the shot cut by a Braga defender
