Jaishankar appreciates the Slovenian Foreign Minister’s view of Ukraine and the EU

New Delhi [India]April 25 (ANI): Minister of Foreign Affairs S. Jaishankar met with Slovenian counterpart Anže Logar to assess his views on Ukraine and the European Union.
“The day began with a meeting with FM @AnzeLog (Anze Logar) of Slovenia. He appreciated his views on Ukraine and the European Union,” Jaishankar tweeted.
The Slovenian Foreign Minister arrived in New Delhi on Monday to take part in Raisin’s dialogue.
“During his official visit to India, Minister @AnzeLog will meet with Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam @DrSJaishankar and take part in the international conference @raisinadialogue. He will also attend a cultural event marking the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations,” the Slovenian Foreign Ministry said. .
Earlier, Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau arrived in Delhi to take part in the Raisin dialogue.
Yesterday, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Nigerian Foreign Minister Geoffrey Onyeama and Argentine Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero arrived in New Delhi to attend Raisin’s dialogue, which is set to begin today.
All international ministers are in the country’s capital to attend the Raisin dialogue, scheduled for April 25-27.
Raisin’s 2022 dialogue, based on the theme “Terran – Passionate, Intolerant, Endangered”, will be based on six thematic pillars – Reflections on Democracy: Trade, Technology and Ideology; The end of multilateralism: a networked global order; Water caucasus: restless tides in the Indo-Pacific; Communities Inc: first responders to health, development and the planet; Achieving green transitions: common imperative, different realities; Samson v. Goliath: Persistent and Relentless Technological Wars.
Launched in 2016, Raisin Dialogue is India’s leading conference on geopolitics and geoeconomics, committed to addressing the most pressing issues facing the world community. The conference is organized by the MEA in collaboration with the Observer Research Foundation (ORF).
Meanwhile, EU President Ursula von der Leyen, who arrived in India on Sunday for a two-day official visit, was also invited as the main guest of this year’s Raisin dialogue and will address the inaugural session today. (IS NOT IT)
