The Caen-AJA notebook: the good contribution of Sinayoko
Sinayoko (6)
His tenure in place of Perrin on the right wing was the only change in the Auxerre starting lineup. The striker’s role was to support Charbonnier in the middle of a five-man defense. He gave Hein the first opportunity for Auxerre (6th) then got the second but came up against the big save from Péan (38th). On the next corner, his header is stopped by the goalkeeper but he continues with a cross for a decisive pass to Charbonnier (0-1, 39th). In the second half, he defended a lot, like a right back, while Caen spread a lot towards his pistons.

The other players
Leon (5)
A first stop not very clear at the start of the match (2nd). A perilous aerial exit between two Caen strikers at the end of his surface on which he benefits from the fault (87th). He can do nothing on the splendid volley of Deminguet (1-1, 89th).
Archus (5)
The side right had to monitor the calls of the offensive piston Abdi, on which he committed a fault earning him a third warning in less than ten matches which will deprive him of the trip to Le Havre (55th).
Jubal (6)
The solid centre-back helped his team stay shorthanded by being in his box. A little vice to save time at times.
coefficient (6)
He removed a lot of balloons from the head while Caen sprayed the Auxerre surface with crosses, especially during the second period.
Pellenard (5)
Overall present on the left side except for an uncontrolled tackle (29th) and a two against one situation (33rd). His use of the ball was quite poor.
Toure (5)
Locked in the Caen network, he was nowhere to be found in the recovery in the first period. He worked a lot when AJA found themselves cornered in front of their surface.

Saki (5)
Caen thwarted AJA and the playmaker was the symbol of it by being neutralized in the first act. He managed to shine on a corner played two bringing the goal (0-1, 39th). Kept on the field and on the left side when AJA was at ten to recover and keep a few balls.
Huh (5.5)
A good sequence to solicit Péan (6th) then a small ball well dosed towards Sinayoko (38th). Replaced for tactical reasons, he came out frustrated (71st). Entrance in its place, Ndom was avoided (78th) before narrowly failing to counter Deminguet’s strike (89th)
Other (3.5)
The match changed when he held Abdi by the arm in the central circle while the Caennais spun but Arcus came back (49th). The left midfielder tried to make himself available in the first half when AJA failed to reveal the ball. A free kick from just above (9th). A discount for Charbonnier (48th).
Charcoal (6)
The center-forward scored the goal for Auxerre with a header, dominating Oniangué after returning from a corner (0-1, 40′). A nice shot on target released by Péan (48th). A big generous in the efforts.
