Sweden’s Cornelia Jakobs takes the lead (April 24)
In less than three weeks, a new Eurovision winner will make history. But when we travel to Turin in 2022, OGAE vote 2022 continues to unleash more points.
Since the last game, ten more clubs have shaken the scoreboard with their votes, these are OGAEs Israel, Denmark, UK, Armenia, Andorra, Poland, Iceland, Serbia, Germany and Portugal. With 65% of the votes now distributed, we have a new leader – Sweden’s Cornelia Jakobs.
In fact, Sweden has been a prominent place in this new set of points. Seven clubs – Israel, Denmark, Great Britain, Armenia, Poland, Iceland and Portugal – have awarded their douz points to Cornelia Jakobs, who had only two top results before. Just like in Eurovision, it is important to wait until the end because things can really change.
On the other hand, the OGAE clubs Andorra and Serbia gave their 12 points to Spanish Chanel. At the same time, OGAE Germany sent its highest score to Italy’s Mahmood and Blanco.

How do these votes change the overall scoreboard for OGAE Poll 2022?
The tables have turned. Although Italy seems to be unconcerned in first place after 22 sets of votes in the OGAE survey in 2022, Italy is now the second violin after Sweden, which has taken first place. It’s still everything to play for, as only five points separate the two acts.
At the same time, what used to be a three-horse race for the win now looks like a duel between Sweden and Italy. Spain has started to have some difficulty keeping up with the top two.
Among the top ten, the Netherlands has taken back fourth place from the UK. The remaining top ten countries have retained exactly the same rankings since the last round of voting. But do not expect that things will definitely remain the same – Poland and France duel closely for the sixth place, with a separation of only seven points.
Outside the top ten, both Estonia and the Czech Republic have benefited greatly from this round of voting. Estonia has jumped four places to now be in 13th place, and the Czech Republic has climbed two places to place in 16th place. On the other hand, Finland has noted the opposite trend. The Nordic country has lost four places, from 13th to 17th.
From this latest batch, no country has received its first points in OGAE Poll 2022. Thus, 26 countries have already received points and 14 more have not yet received any.
