San Marino on display at the Biennale – Cronaca
The Pavilion of the Republic of San Marino is officially open to the public at the 59th International Art Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia. Exhibition that can be visited until next November 27 in the Renaissance spaces of Palazzo Donà dalle Rose in Venice. Eight artists invited. They are Elisa Cantarelli, Nicoletta Ceccoli, Endless, Michelangelo Galliani, Rosa Mundi, Roberto Paci Dalò, Anne-Cécile Surga, Michele Tombolini. The inaugural evening was attended by authorities and representatives of the institutions, but also well-known exponents from the world of art, culture, fashion, entrepreneurship, entertainment and sport. The languages of art and fashion have given shape to unique performances thanks to the collaboration between Elisabetta Franchi and the leading artists of the Pavilion. The event ended with a heavily participated charity auction, the proceeds of which will be donated to Unicef for projects related to the humanitarian emergency in Ukraine.

“The project of the Pavilion of the Republic of San Marino at the Biennale Arte 2022 – underlines the Secretary of State for Culture, Andrea Belluzzi – is characterized by being a project with an international flavor thanks to the participation of both San Marino and foreign artists – San Marino will it is represented by the poles of its culture, its artists and its University “. The country, continues the San Marino minister, “is pursuing a path of greater focus on art and cultural initiatives as elements of attraction that contribute to bringing attentive visitors to our country. The reason that made me incline to collaborate with Fr Istituto of Contemporary Art and with its partner Cris Contini Contemporary is that the project will have an impact on the San Marino territory during and after the Biennale: the artists present at the event will in fact bring their installations and their performances also to the Republic of San Marino ” .
