How was Omonia Square in 1956? Main roads, cars, pedestrians, the traffic wardens, Monastiraki, the Christmas decorations, the gas stations, the fashion houses, the hairdressers, the theater lights and Panepistimiou Street at night?

“Capital Adventures”, although forgotten by television stations, is the second Greek color film as well as the first Greek color film with a contemporary theme (non-bucolic), as well as the debut of Rena Vlach in cinema.
The film was shot in 1956 and directed by Giannis Petropoulakis and its plot describes the adventures in Athens of a Corfiot village girl. Although the script itself can not keep the modern viewer, the color depiction of Athens, the freshly painted apartment buildings of 1950 and the young Rena Vlachopoulou, are enough to make this film invaluable.
The screenplay is by Ilias Lymperopoulos and together with Rena Vlachopoulou the participants are: Stefanos Stratigos, Stavros Iatridis, Annie Bowl, Popi Alva, Nikos Rizos, Vassilis Andreopoulos, Pamfili Santoriniou, Dimos Starenios, Desoina Nios Panina , Nana Biopoulou, Koulis Stoligas, Pantelis Palierakis
The film premiered on November 12, 1956
