In Cologne, a man was shot in the open street on Thursday night. On Friday afternoon, the SEK arrested two men. The investigations are ongoing.
Update from April 22, 4:40 p.m.: After the shots were fired on Thursday in Cologne-Bilderstöcken, the SEK arrested a 19-year-old and a 23-year-old on Friday afternoon (April 22) on Leipziger Platz in Nippes. This is now reported by the Cologne police.
Both men are said to have been involved in the act on Thursday night. A 21-year-old was shot on Offener Straße. He was hit by several shots in the upper body and seriously injured. The Cologne police initially spoke of a possible rocker reference. According to known findings, however, this can no longer be assumed, it is now said.
The district court of Cologne had already issued an arrest warrant against the 23-year-old on strong suspicion of attempted manslaughter. The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The police did not allow any further information on the state of health of the 21-year-old to die. However, the police are asking for information about the fugitives by calling 0221 229 0 or by email to [email protected].
