Ca ‘Foscari, Crossroads of Civilization: the International Literature Festival in Venice from 25 to 28 May
There 15th edition from Crossroads of Civilizationthe International Literature Festival in Venice, directed by Flavio Gregori, will take place this year from 25 to 28 May in the presence of the invited authors and with the participation of the audience in the room.
The Festival, conceived and organized by the Ca ‘Foscari University of Venice in collaboration with the Foundation of Venice and the town of Veniceand in partnership with many national and international institutions, it will host – as usual – personalities from all over the world to offer a comprehensive look at contemporary reality.
Among the authors of the 15th edition the Ukrainian poet Boris Khersonsky and the German director and writer Werner Herzog
Appointments will be held in the Ca ‘Foscari offices and in other offices throughout the city and will see, among others, the participation of the following names from international literature and culture:
the Norwegian Roy Jacobsenthe Hungarian László Krasznahorkaithe American Joe Lansdalethe Israeli Eshkol Nevothe Vietnamese Nguyễn Phan Quế Maithe Venezuelan Karina Sainz Borgo, the Ukrainian poet Boris Chersonsky (in collaboration with the Brodsky Foundation and the Waterlines project) and the famous director and author Werner Herzog.
The Ugandan activist Vanessa Nakate will be the protagonist of the last appointment of Towards Incroci on 21 Maya preview of the official opening of the Festival on May 25th.
These are just some of the authors of Incroci di Civiltà who will converse in Venice in the 15th edition.
The complete program of the Festival will be presented during a press conference to be held on 11 May at 11 in the Aula Berengo of the Ca ‘Foscari University of Venice (1st floor – Dorsoduro 3246, 30123 Venice).
