new closures between Avignon North and South
Undertaken by Vinci Autoroutes since autumn 2021, the renovation work on the pavements of the A7 motorway, which involves 24 kilometers of lanes (12 kilometers in each direction) between the Avignon-Le Pontet (n° 23) and Avignon-Châteaurenard interchanges (No. 24), continues. Work is always carried out at night, from Monday evening to Friday morning. However, they will require the partial closure of the Avignon-Le Pontet (No. 23) and Avignon-Châteaurenard (No. 24) interchanges, for two nights, during next week.
Thus, for the night of Wednesday April 20 at the Avignon-Le Pontet interchange (No. 23), the entrance to the A7 towards Lyon and the exit from the A7 from Marseille will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next day.
The following diversion routes will be put in place on this occasion:
➤ Drivers heading towards Lyon will have to take the RD225 towards Lyon then the RD907 to the Orange-Sud interchange (n° 22), where they can join the A7.
➤ Drivers traveling on the A7 from Marseille will be able to reach the Avignon-Le Pontet sector by exiting at the Avignon-Châteaurenard interchange (n° 24) to take the RN129 towards Lyon, the RN7, the RD907 then the RD225.
