Nextity invests €105 million in Alta de Lisboa
After Leça da Palmeira, where a project with 340 dwellings is underway, Nexity Portugal will make its debut in the capital with the first large-scale development in Alta de Lisboa. There are nine eight-storey buildings, with a total of 400 apartments, on a plot of land located next to the Parque Oeste da Alta de Lisboa, between Avenida Nuno Abecassis and the central axis.
“The land was purchased in the second half of last year and the project in Alta de Lisboa represents a total investment of around €105 million,” Fernando Vasco Costa, director of Nexity Portugal, told Expresso. The works of the first phase, consisting of five buildings, 2023, starting in the first half of the phase, will be the company to finalize the concept of modular apartments for young families. Of the 400 apartments of T1 to T4 typologies, 70% will be of intermediate typologies, he adds. “These are dwellings that can be evolutionary. Preparing for its evolution modularly and changing its capacity throughout the lifecycle. A T1 can be transformed into a T2 or, conversely, a T4 into T2”, exemplifies Fernando Vasco Costa. And he adds that the infrastructures are from scratch to make possible, the lifestyle of each one. “Basically, you buy an area and then ‘close’ or ‘open up’ as you wish. It can be as compact as a huge apartment, a loft or a T2”, he explains.
