Slovenia’s NLB plans to pay EUR 100 million in dividends to 2021 profit
LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), 15 April (SeeNews) – Nova Ljubljanska banka Slovenije [LJSE:NLBR] (NLB) plans to pay dividends of 100 million euros (108 million dollars) to its profits in 2021, the bank said.
The NLB is considering paying a dividend for 2021 in two installments, with a target total of 210 million euros for 2022 and 2023, according to the annual report for 2021, which was published on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange website on Thursday.
Cumulative dividend payments of NLB on profit for 2020 amounted to EUR 92.2 million, divided into three installments – EUR 12 million in June, EUR 12.4 million in October and EUR 67.4 million in December.
In 2021, the NLB generated consolidated profit after tax in the amount of EUR 236.4 million, which is 12% less on an annual basis. In 2021, the net operating revenues of the NLB Group increased by 32% to EUR 499.9 million, while net interest income increased by 37% to EUR 409.4 million.
The lender’s capital is divided into 20 million shares with a nominal value of 10 euros per share. At the end of 2021, NLB’s market capitalization amounted to EUR 1.524 billion.
NLB shares fell 0.59 percent to 67.60 euros on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Thursday.
