2nd league: GAK scores away at Wacker Innsbruck – soccer
Innsbruck – Friday, April 15, 2022, 8:18 p.m
Wacker Innsbruck and GAK separate in the 24th round of the Admiral 2nd league with a 1:1.
The Tyroleans, who also received an ultimatum from the players after the license was denied for the coming season (all information >>), initially started the game well, but fell behind after a set piece.
Lukas Graf extended a perfect corner in the run by Marco Perchtold, who headed in to take the lead (26′). The “red jackets” stay on the trigger in another episode, Mamadou Sangare’s shot misses the target, but only just.
The Grazers initially find the better chances in the second round. Again it’s Sangare, who shoots from a distance but only hits the bar.
Ronivaldo equalizes from the point
However, Wacker remains in the game on the estate and becomes dangerous, among other things, with a long-range shot by Rio Nitta. A little later, the Tyroleans are also rewarded with a penalty after Count Paolino Bertaccini falls. Ronivaldo steps up and converts safely – 1: 1 (66th).
Both teams then found their chances, so Marco Rusek just missed the renewed GAK lead with a header. In the end, the points are shared.
The GAK ranks seventh in the table with 36 points. Two places behind are Wacker Innsbruck with 33 points.
