Discover the new values for Portugal and other European countries.
We are all aware of the rise in the price of gasoline and diesel. In this scenario (and others), electric cars can be an excellent alternative, but the price of energy is also on the rise.
Currently, making a stop at Tesla stations in Portugal, with the current 0.56 euros per kWh, is already almost as expensive as refueling a diesel or gasoline car, but obviously it still pays off. For example, if the vehicle uses 158Wh/km, this gives 15.8 kWh/100km * €0.56 = €8,848 to travel 100km. If you use a diesel car and spend 6 liters for every 100 km this is around 12 euros (considering the value of diesel at €1.9).
To have a comparison, in Italy prices have also skyrocketed, but currently they pay 0.45 euros per kWh on V3s and 0.56 euros per kWh on V2s.
In Germany there are also new rates. In 2021 a charging cost was 0.45 euros per kWh. Since this week, as the location increase between 0.50 and 0.52 euros per kWh, the location of the location. That is, 15.5% more expensive than at the beginning of this year.
