OM: Marseille already know Jorge Sampaoli’s successor
This Thursday (9 p.m.), Olympique de Marseille will face Razvan Lucescu’s PAOK Salonika. A well-known man from Bafétimbi Gomis who advises him to more than one team in Ligue 1.
“I would like him to train in France, and I have promoted him to several leaders. For me, his nationality is a handicap, while he can play in the top 6 in L1 and surprise more than one. Razvan gave me lots of love when I needed it. He has a great game philosophy, he is inspired by Pep Guardiola, mixes that with the precepts of the Italian school. He did not come to Al Hilal to earn money, but to win the Asian Champions League, the first for twenty years (gleaned in 2019, editor’s note). From the first training, he started to work on the recovery from behind, to give us videos, to be very demanding on the ground. It paid off. We won the C1. When he left, he cried, the players too“, declared Bafétimbi Gomis in remarks relayed by The Team.
Passed by Olympique de Marseille during the 2016/17 season, Bafétimbi Gomis sends a message to his former clubs in Ligue 1. Razvan Lucescu could be a real good pickaxe for OM in the event of an unexpected separation with regular Jorge Sampaoli like his counterpart Marcelo Bielsa, initially surprised.
