Bordeaux rappelé à l’ordre par la FIFA sur le transfert de Thibault Klidjé – Girondins
FIFA has issued its decision on the dispute between the Girondins de Bordeaux and the training club of Thibault Klidjé GOMIDO DE KPALIME in Togo. The verdict was delivered by 3 members of the FIFA Football Tribunal.
FIFA has decided, Bordeaux will have to pay
Thus by a decision of April 12, the Girondins de Bordeaux are ordered to pay the Gomido club “the sum of EUR 90,000 as training compensation, plus annual interest at the rate of 5% from March 2, 2020, until the date of full payment.”
The Bordeaux club has a period of 45 days to honor the payment. If Bordeaux does not honor this decision and does not pay this sum, a ban on recruitment at national and international level may be pronounced for 3 transfer window periods.
As a reminder, the transfer of Thibault Klidjé was concluded in 2020 by the previous owners of the Girondins de Bordeaux GACP and King Street under the leadership of Souleymane Cissé. The former trainer of AS Monaco was then technical director of the Girondins de Bordeaux.
In 2020, we received Thibault Klidjé’s agent on May 14, 2020 in our Talk on WebGirondins (see video below). He then denounced the non-respect of transfer rules by the Girondins de Bordeaux concerning the recruitment of Thibault Klidjé. The dispute over the payment of training compensation. His steps with FIFA were therefore successful.
