“Portugal’s relationship and the CPLP Trade and Investment Promotion Agencies Forum” under debate at UC – Notícias de Coimbra
The University of Coimbra (UC) promotes tomorrow (Tuesday, 12) the conference “The CPLP: Portugal’s relationship and the Forum of CPLP Trade and Investment Promotion Agencies”. The event takes place at Casa da Lusofonia, from 3 pm, with the participation of the President of AICEP (Portuguese Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade), Luís Castro Henriques.
The conference, part of the cycle “Conversas na Casa da Lusofonia”, will have the opening speech by the UC Vice-Rector for External Relations and alumni, João Nuno Calvão da Silva, and will be taken by José Manuel Portugal, journalist for RTP. The closing will be a charge of the Chairman of the Board of the General Assembly of the Academic Association of Coimbra, Daniel Tadeu, and of Alexandrina Ferreira Mendes, professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy and member of the General Council of the UC. The cycle “Conversas na Casa da Lusofonia” is one initiative which aims to bring together current and former students (national and international) of the University of Coimbra, bringing together prestigious personalities for today’s unavoidable debaters.
The conference “The CPLP: The relationship between Portugal and the Trade Promotion Agencies and the CPLP” will take place in person, with limited attendance, requiring registration to participate, through the Forum of Investment Agencies at the address. [email protected].
At the end of the session, the recent GPS monitors will be delivered to the UC International Relations Division in 2014, with the aim of integrating the Division’s Programs and Foreign Students into the city at the university. In this GPS program, Portuguese students apply voluntarily and receive training to help with issues related to accommodation, transport or health (among others).
