However, the goal of coach Rene Aufhauser’s team must now be to come out of this game in an excellent way so that they can finally get their first win of the year this Friday! With Wacker Innsbruck, an opponent from the middle of the table is guesting in the Red Bull Arena, who has been able to convince in the recent past, especially against top teams. Most recently, the ninth-placed Tyroleans were able to take a point from FAC with a 1-1 draw, and they even managed a 3-0 win against leaders Austria Lustenau.
STATEMENT
Rene Aufhauser: “We were close last week and actually deserved the win, but then unfortunately it was added time. There are things like that in football, which was of course very painful and annoying. Now it’s up to the team to learn from it and get out of a phase like that. But we can also take something positive from the Rapid game and want to continue that on Friday. The most important thing is that we continue to stick to our gameplay and virtues. We just have to pull off the right performance, and then victory comes automatically.”
