Swearing-in of the vice mayors in the district of Innsbruck-Land
Swearing-in to the federal and state constitutions
Before assuming office, the mayors and deputy mayors have to swear an oath to the district governors in accordance with the federal and state constitutions. As part of a ceremony in the Hofburg in Innsbruck, the community leaders selected this year were already sworn in in the presence of the state government. For the vice mayors of the Innsbruck-Land district, this official ceremony took place this week in the presence of a municipal officer LR John Tratter and district captain Michael Kirchmair at Landhaus Zwei in Innsbruck.
“The communities are the foundation of our country. A big thank you goes to all those who are willing to work for their fellow citizens – above all the deputy mayors of the Innsbruck-Land district. As a municipal officer, the ongoing and personal exchange with the municipalities is always a concern of mine in order to maintain and improve the good partnership between the state and the municipalities in the future,” he said LR Tratter.
bra As part of the swearing-in ceremony, Kirchmair emphasized: “The challenges in municipal politics are extremely varied. I would like to thank all deputy mayors for taking on the responsibility of helping to shape their communities over the next six years. It will also be important in the future to implement important projects in the interests of the population in order to maintain and continuously improve the excellent quality of life in the communities in our district. I look forward to working closely with you and wish you every success for your six-year term of office until 2028.”
