Six drivers were unable to drive in this country in March – Liechtenstein
VADUZ – The state police carried out speed checks at various locations in March. As part of further checks and four accidents, six drivers and one driver were found to be unable to drive, the state police said in a broadcast on Wednesday.
During radar checks last month, the state police’s radar vehicle was passed by a total of 78,226 vehicles. Of these, two percent are traveling too fast. Of the vehicles that were measured at excessive speeds, 30 percent were registered in Liechtenstein. The maximum speed of a vehicle driver must be 91 instead of the permitted 50 km/h in Schaanwald.
Six men and one woman between the ages of 19 and 83 were found to be unable to drive. Two people had abused alcohol and two had abused narcotics. In one case there was a mixed consumption of alcohol and drugs and in two people a physical disability was the cause of the inability to drive. The values of drunk drivers are between 1.13 and 1.71 per mille.
