Le LOSC freiné par Bordeaux
At the end of a match that struggled to get exciting, LOSC finally shared the points against Girondins de Bordeaux, reduced to 10 in the 35th minute. With several buts refused for offside, LOSC saw themselves hampered against Bordeaux, for which it was also the first clean sheet of the season (0-0).
A rather soporific first half
From the start, LOSC took the stage thanks to a free kick from Bamba, which benefited Yilmaz, author of a point-blank shot well repelled by Poussin, which Onana could not put in the bottom , yet very close to the goal. After that, not much to eat apart from a shot from Onana from 25 meters, passed over. It comes alive a little, but not in the game, because in the 36th minute, Kwateng takes a second yellow card (a little touchy we say) after a late intervention on Bamba. Just before half-time, Yilmaz attempted a cross-shot from the right side of the area, which was quite easy for Gaëtan Poussin to capture. Directly after coming into play in place of Elis, Hwang was served alone in front, but too alone precisely, well guarded by Djaló.
Anthology of goals disallowed, Poussin in grace
In the second half, we hoped to witness a more enticing act between Lille and Bordeaux reduced to ten. And that was the case from the 51′, with a strike from Bamba in the area, well served by Lihadji, who ran aground on Poussin’s post, he who closed his angle well despite everything. At 56′, it was the Portuguese Angel Gomes who rewarded us with a well-rolled shot at the entrance to the surface, nevertheless without great danger for the Girondin goalkeeper. Lille even believed they had opened the scoring on the hour mark thanks to a well-placed header from Onana in the box, signaled quite largely offside. Bis repeated a few minutes later, with Djaló scoring from close range in the area following a set piece, offside less obvious to the naked eye this time.
This does not prevent LOSC from pushing, Bamba shining with a small deviation from the outside of the right foot, and Poussin’s stop is no less magnificent! This wave of Lille’s offensive ends with a long shot from David, which got off to a bad start, which Poussin catches in two stages. And the goalkeeper trained in Bordeaux again confirmed that his teammates could count on him, with a new save on Ben Arfa, freshly entered the game. But never 2 without 3, Onana presented himself again offside, following a but marked with the head.
This end to the match to the advantage of Lille, allowed Poussin to continue to shine, but also the Girondins to pocket 1 point in their race to maintain. Not sure that the people of Lille, meanwhile, are satisfied…
