Krakow will once again join the “Light up blue” campaign and on Saturday will highlight famous buildings in a gesture of solidarity with the participation of autistic patients.
The following will glow blue: the Bernatka footbridge, TAURON Arena Kraków and the Emitel TV tower in Krzemionki.
The initiator of the “Light up blue” campaign is the “Autism Speaks” Foundation, popularizing knowledge about autism. In the Year of the Day on the occasion of “World Automotive Knowledge”, a symbolic light to make almost a corner of the earth.
“By lighting the blue light at the International Space Station, the South Pole, the revolution in Pisa, the Empire State Building, the monumental statue of Christ the Savior in Rio de Janeiro, but also in homes and elections, we are united in compassion for people suffering from autism and their loved ones, and help to understand this organizer “- they inform.
Autism is a mysterious bank based on a malfunctioning brain. Autistic people have problems with speaking, perceiving the world, and understanding relationships. According to statistics, there are 5 million people with autism in Europe today, which means that there is not one person in 150. In Poland, it is said that there is one case in 300.
