Genoa, the Iren Quinto welcomes seventeen Ukrainian water polo players
Genoa – Ligurian sport also comes to the rescue of Ukrainian refugees. This is the case ofIren Fifth of water polo which, on the initiative of a group of parents of the youth teams and by theformer international Vadim Rojdestvensky, sent a bus to the border between Ukraine and Hungary and brought seventeen young sportsmen accompanied by six mothers to Genoa. The large group found near the Dominican Sisters of Quinto.

I have to sincerely thank the companies and religious bodies who are giving us an incredible hand, providing us with assistance, food and clothing. But also the Sori and the Sportiva Sturla, who have made available spaces to train the Ukrainian boys. I am very proud of this initiative, it is a truly commendable moment of solidarity “.
