Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Andriy Deshchytsia said that Ukraine is currently pursuing particular importance in blocking any situations in the aggressor countries and partner countries, considering the possibility of simultaneously closing the borders of Belarus and Russia.
He reported this in broadcast information telephony.
“We have carried out important work with the Ministry of Defense of Poland, taking into account Poland with the goal of completely closing the border, even if a decision is not made at the level of the European Union. The borders between Poland and Belarus,” said Deshchytsia.
He added that at the moment the Polish partners are led by their neighbors: Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, and Ukraine has also turned to these countries regarding the parallel closure of borders.
“At the moment, while our Polish partners specialize in neighbors: with Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, and we also turned to this country to unite these countries and close our borders to Belarus and Russia. I think that such a decision will be made. , then there will be no need to wait for this decision from the EU and we will completely block any supplies to Russia,” Deshchitsa said.
