The coach of SV Innsbruck IIInan Danisman, refers to the 2-1 win in the 14th round of the 1st Class West against the SPG Ötz/Sautens as something happy. However, as a better team, you sometimes didn’t score any points in autumn and are now all the more happy about the successful start to 2022. In the top game of the round, the SPG Mieminger Plateau beat Lechaschau 3-1 and that was a further step in the right direction Title. The pursuer Sellraintal also wins 5:0 in Nassereith, but Mieming can extend the lead over the new second in the table, Sellraintal, to nine points.
Somewhat lucky success for the SVI II
Inan Danisman, coach SV Innsbruck II: “We started the party very happy. Shortly after the kick-off, central defender David Krahl plays a raised ball to the moved-up full-back Taylan Demir, whose subsequent cross breaks off from the backcourt and ends up in the goal. 1:0 after just a few seconds. Oetz/Sautens often determined the game in the first half and had the better chances, including a missed penalty – over the goal. Only once could our goalie – and in my opinion “man of the match” – Sidik Zakomac, who kept us in the game with many great saves, be forced. A quick counterattack brought Noel Melmer to 1:1 with our goalie and in the 30th minute he sunk the ball in the bottom left corner. Half-time score 1:1.
The second half was pretty good, even after Fabio Hasslwanter was ruled out (yellow-red because of criticism). Although we had better chances on several occasions, we often made the wrong decision at the decisive moment or failed because goalkeeper Thomas Krabichler, who made a very good save. Our guests felt like it, who had a few chances to take the lead despite being outnumbered – Sidik Zakomac continued to hold the ball well. The decision is only made in injury time with a quick counterattack, this time on our part. Six Luca Marchiori recognizes the situation and starts a sprint on the offensive. Taylan Demir plays the ball up into the depths, the ball bounces once and “Locatelli” skilfully lobs the goalie coming towards him from about twenty meters.
It was a lucky win for us. Oetz/Sautens bravely played forward until the end and it could have gone in the other direction. However, it has to be said that we, as a team that was several times better, went away empty-handed and had to put up with a long series of defeats. Of course we’re happy that we took the points and started the second half of the season with a win. Next week we face the leader of the table SPG Mieminger Plateau. We’ll have to improve on that.
Best players SVI 1b: Sidik Zakomac (TW), Thomas Schmarl (left full-back), Taylan Demir (right full-back), Luca Schrom (6er)
